Recently I went to the supermarket and was in a hurry. As I was going in a small voice inside my head told me to wait a few seconds and open the door for the lady who was behind me. Boy, am I glad that I did. It only took a minute or two, but according to the lady, it made such a difference in her morning.

I smiled at the lady as I held the door for her to enter first. She paused and looked at me and said that she had been having such a lousy day. She said she appreciated my small act of kindness and that it brightened her day so much. She went into the store and so did I. I was smiling even broader because I had made a difference in someone else’s life with such a small act as holding the door open for her. I am glad that I listened to that small voice that told me to do it. Have a glorious day.
