Make Your Own Smoothies

I find little as refreshing as an ice-cold fruit smoothie, especially on a hot summer’s day.

There’s a better option than driving to the store every time you are in the mood for a delicious smoothie. Buy your own blender and make your own awesome smoothies whenever you are in the mood.

They are super easy to make, and if you use a lot of fruit (or even only fruit) then smoothies are healthy, nutritious and a treat for your taste-buds and your body!

Once you have a blender then you can just head over to Smoothieweb for dozens of free smoothie recipes!





Make Your Own Fruit or Vegetable Juice

There is little as healthy as 100% fresh fruit or vegetable juice.

Not only can you absorb the nutrients and vitamins from way more fruits or vegetables by drinking their juice vs. eating them, you take it in far quicker because it’s in liquid form. Very little digestion needed!

When you have the juicer, you can make yourself fresh fruit juice for breakfast or lunch every day. It’s cheap and healthy, just buy some fruit, peel it and throw it in the juicer. Voila!

One very healthy thing you can do when you have a juicer is take a multi-day juice fast. This is where you only consume fruit or vegetable juice and no solid foods for a few days to reset and cleanse your system. I highly recommend you do this at least once every 6 months!




Live a Raw Food Life

The best type of food that we can eat is organic, raw food that comes straight from the tree or the ground.

This means fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds.

A huge part of the health-related problems like obesity, heart disease, cancer and much more is due to the processed and junk foods that we consume. All the artificial ingredients and highly cooked and altered foods like cereal, chocolate,biscuits,sauces etc are actually highly poisonous for our bodies.

If you can eat raw food for a part of your meal or even if you can make the switch to raw food entirely, you will be doing your body and your health a huge favor.




Dietary Wellness

This book is one of my favorites and I found it highly interesting.

It mentions nearly every type of fruit and vegetable that you know of, and it describes in great detail what that fruit or vegetable is good for. Every type of food has specific qualities and vitamin/nutrient content.

Most dis-ease that you experience can be cured through eating the right type of food for that condition. If you have a headache…eat blueberries. If you have a cold, eat lots of onions and garlic etc.

I would say that this book is essential to have on your bookshelf and a huge part of everyone’s education about health and healthy living!








The Master Cleanse

A few years back when I was heavily researching and reading about health and the best way to eat and live to ensure optimal health, I stumbled upon the Master Cleanse.

The Master Cleanse is a fast that allows you to clear out your entire system, remove all the effects from years of consuming artificial and processed foods, and to restore your health and energy to 100%.

It is a very simple cleanse and fast, where you consume only a special recipe of lemonade water and some natural supplements.

I did the Master Cleanse for a few days last year and it made a HUGE difference to how I feel. Try it out, I highly suggest it!





Easy Healthy Dinner Recipes

Fitness

When it comes to fitness and getting a lean,ripped body, I am a huge fan of daily home workouts. Not only is it cheaper than going to gym, but it’s much easier to do every day.

If you have a gym membership, it takes a lot of time and effort to go out and visit the gym, but when you exercise at your home it’s quick and easy. So you have no excuses not to exercise!

Here are a few essential fitness items and equipment that you should invest in if you are going to exercise and workout from your home:

Pull-up Bar

Want to build your upper-body? Forget expensive gym memberships.

Firstly, you need a lot of discipline to go to the gym multiple days a week. There are always reasons not to go (You’re tired, you have to work, you have to go out with your wife etc.).

I bought one of these pull-up bars and hung it in my bathroom. I use it every single day for a couple of minutes before I take a shower or brush my teeth, and the increase in my strength has been enormous after just 2 months of using it.

Trust me, once you buy it and hang it up in your bedroom or bathroom, you won’t be able to resist using it every time you see it.




Swiss Ball

A swiss ball is one of the sweetest inventions of all time.

It has so many purposes. You can use it for exercises like pushups and situps. You can use it to sit on for a better posture behind your desk or computer. You can use it to strengthen your core muscles (balancing) and you can even take your frustrations out on it by kicking it across your room as hard as you can. (Warning, it bounces back!)

I bought myself one years ago, and it’s still as new. I actually sit on it every day while I’m writing for my blog!










Punching Bag & Boxing Gloves

I love martial arts of all sorts.

Since I was 13 or so and watched the movie Undisputed, I have been practicing some form of boxing or martial arts almost on a daily basis. It’s so much fun to do and it’s so relaxing.

Not only is it good to be able to fight and defend yourself (or the people you are with), it is good exercise too. Spend 3 minutes punching and kicking the bag as hard as you can and you will be so utterly exhausted that you can’t even lift your arms.]

Boxing is a great way to build your stamina and to get your heart and blood pumping. Get yourself a punching bag and gloves, hang it up in a place where you see it every day, and get some exercise.




Fitness Mat
A simple fitness mat like this one is all you need for a variety of cool exercises and stretches.

I personally have one and use it for 5-10 minutes a day for situps and crunches. It’s also really good for doing stretches and even for meditating (so you don’t have to sit on the hard floor).

It’s very easy to store and takes up minimal space. I store mine under my bed and just pull it out when I want to use it.












Cardio In Your Own Home

This may be a little extreme and it’s not something I would personally buy. However, if you want to run or do cardio and don’t want to go to the gym or it’s not safe to run outside, then consider getting yourself a treadmill.

I found this one on Amazon and it seems pretty cheap for this kind of equipment. Of course I suspect it will be entry-level, but it is good enough to make you tired and fit for weeks and months to come.

If you are not sure whether you should buy this on Amazon, maybe head out to your local sports store and see what offers they have there. The point I want to make is that you can get yourself a treadmill without spending a fortune, and you can use it to stay fit and healthy on a daily basis.

There’s a reason why Jason’s product is featured in Men’s Health, Fox News, NBC and many more well-known media distributors. Muscle Gaining Secrets is only for guys who are serious about bulking up and who are willing to put in the work required to get there.

    Ok, first off. you should seriously open your OWN gym, in your house. I can totally relate to time being wasted going to the gym.

    It takes me about 15 minutes to put on proper “public” gym attire, then another 15 minutes heading up to the gym.

    Then, I have to wait for my favorite gym equipment.

    *sigh..

    i swear to god, if my gym didn’t have so many attractive woman, I’d totally cancel my membership.

      Hahahaha, yeah man that is the one big reason why so many guys still have their gym memberships. All the hotties in their spandex workout clothes. Nothing more motivating to get on a treadmill than to see the behind of a pretty girl on the machine in front of you :P
