Yeah ,medications deal with symptoms ,but this is because you go to the doctor when only you feel a symptom .But there are many medical technologies that can predict A physical disease [using DNA technology and Genome analysis etc..] .But when speaking about psychology ,attitudes, thinking and ... etc medicine fails and self improvement is the best approach.

Hey Jen!

Thanks for stopping by :)
Yeah there is no easy way or quick-fix. Getting good at something or even getting better at something takes hard work and a lot of time.

Hey Diggy - I connected with myth #2 here, as I used to fall into this category. But after a cousin of mine convinced me to participate in a simple meditation retreat, and I discovered that ten minutes a day of meditation had a huge (and completely positive) effect on my life, I realized that self-improvement was actually for everyone.

And with myth #9, I tend to cringe every time I hear someone mention the need to rely strictly on medication as the first and only response to their ailments.
