It’s half-way through December and this beautiful year is coming close to an end. The festive season is here and everyone is more happy and jolly this time of the year.

Now is the time to reflect back on the year, think about all the good and bad times you had, what you learned and what you are thankful for.

It’s also time to make resolutions and plans for the new year, but I’ll make another post for that just before the new year begins!

My Good & Bad Times of 2010

• Travel

  I celebrated the last new year’s eve in Amsterdam with one of my best friends and my cousin. It was awesome, full of snow and fireworks. (This year I’ll be in Cape Town, which will have a nice 30C or higher temperature).

  I spent the first 5 weeks of the year traveling Europe, staying in the heart of Amsterdam in an awesome apartment with Glen.

  After Amsterdam, Glen and I traveled through Europe by train and one of the coolest places we went to was Paris. I ate snails for the first time and wasn’t impressed by the taste.

  In August, I went on an awesome trip to Europe once again. I spent six weeks traveling and visited awesome places like Amsterdam, Nice, Prague and Monaco. It was totally off-the-hook kickass!

  Prague and Monaco were new additions to my world travels and I’d never been there before. Prague is a truly beautiful city and rather cheap to stay in. If you have the chance to visit it, don’t even think twice!

  Monaco will blow you mind. It’s a small little country on the coast just next to France. The richest of the rich stay there (tax reasons mostly) and Ferarris are the norm. Every single type of hot and expensive car you can imagine is just parked on the streets there. People have yachts multiple times the size of my house!

  Luckily, lunch is still affordable and needless to say I had a super cool time there!






• People

  I met dozens of incredible cool people, both online and in real life (IRL).

  I had a good time with girls all over the world, and currently have an awesome girl I’ve been seeing the last months. I’m lucky to have some really good friends who I’ve had countless great times with this year!

  I’m thankful for awesome family who are very supportive and loving.

  I’ve made solid friendships and connections with many awesome people online, who I’d like to thank here: (Forgive me if I miss some of you, it’s not on purpose!)

  I’ve gotten to know many others and you know who you are! Thanks for being awesome and I hope we stay in touch for many more years to come!






• Work & Business

  Work has not been so easy, and business hasn’t been all good this year but nevertheless I’m still here and learned from it all.

  I’ve made great progress with growing Upgradereality.com and with my other sites and projects, and this has ultimately led me to the decision to spend the entire next year building my online business to the point that it will earn me a full-time income and allow me to live life how I want to.

  Emotionally I’ve been up and down like a rollercoaster, mostly because of the uncertainty and frustration with work. I’ve spent a lot of time learning about EFT and meditation techniques, and realized that the only thing I can do is accept the things I cannot control and not let it affect me personally.

  I’ve got a great plan to build my online business for the next year, I’m going to work hard and I’m going to enjoy every minute of it.






• Music

  When I hear a new song that I really like, I listen to it on repeat for hours, days and weeks even.

  Here are some of the songs that I listened to so many times in 2010 that some might say I’m crazy:

So that was me, and my 2010 year summed up in a couple of paragraphs. I had a great time this year, experienced a huge amount and grew a tiny modest bit wiser overall.

I’ve also told you what my plans and resolutions for the new year will be (build a successful online business, eat healthy, exercise lots, hang with friends and family). Oh, and I’m going to give professional modeling a go and atttend all castings I get requested for. Maybe you’ll see me as the face of major campaigns soon. Who knows
