Link Love and Questions

Link Love

Today I wanted to share some love and link to the best posts of up and coming bloggers.

I know that it is difficult to gain awareness when just starting out, and these guys and girls are really passionate about their topics and blogs so if you have some time check them out:

I Need Your Help

The past month I have been working on my first premium product: a 200 page plus ebook on overcoming any personal obstacles standing between your present life and the life you want to be living.

I am going to cover a large amount of common personal obstacles, most of which I have personally experienced and overcome. Among the many topics covered in great detail are:

  • Anxiety
  • Confidence
  • Dating
  • Emotional control
  • Health & fitness
  • Money
  • Passion
  • Productivity
  • Purpose
  • Taking Action
  • and many more!

I have a fair idea of what you as the readers want and expect from this product, but I want to make it absolutely awesome and as good as I can possibly make it!

That is why I need your help.

If you have been following me and my articles here on Upgradereality, you will have a good idea of my style and the kind of content I produce. My aim is to create no-nonsense content of immense value that will really help you with any area of your life that you are struggling with.

I am not a doctor, or a scientist, or a mathematician, or a banker. I don’t even have a university degree and yet I have ran a business bigger than most people will ever run, I have worked with accounts and money of a multi-million dollar yearly turnover company and I am pretty good at building and fixing things. I work for myself from home and have managed to go from really shy around people to being able to get beautiful girls and make friends where-ever I go.

I am not saying this to brag, not at all. All the experience I have and personal obstacles I have overcome to get to where I am today form part of the ebook I am creating for you. It’s main aim is to help you avoid common mistakes, inspire you when you lack motivation or inspiration and guide you to achieving the goals you want. Heck…you may not even really know what you want and that is what is holding you back. No fear, that is why I am creating this ebook.

How You Can Help

I am absolutely going to do my utmost to create the best possible learning experience, motivation and valuable content. But…I may not be able to think of everything you may want to hear.

That is why for this one time I would like you to leave a comment and tell me what it is that you want me to cover in great detail in this ebook I am writing for you.

It will be launched for sale towards the end of July 2010.

Alternatively you can send me your ideas by filling in my contact form.

If you are going to pay your hard-earned dollars for this ebook (and it will be very reasonably priced), I want you to get as much value out of it as possible and I want you to feel that it will be worth a tenfold of what you paid for this. My hard work and effort combined with your input of what you want to hear will result in a fantastic ebook that will help you greatly and possibly even completely change your life for the better.

Yes, bold promises but I am going to live up to them and exceed them!

Thank you in advance!
Diggy

Yikes! I actually didn’t see this linkback…well, better late than never:

Thanks for the link love Diggy

    You must cover money management.
A simple technique I use is to create an excel spreadsheet with different pages for each of my (two) bank accounts.
    Column one date of transaction
    Column two for credits
    Column three for debits
Column four contains the formula value of cell above added to amount in column two in this row minus the value of column three in this row. This creates a running total.use the other columns to analyse out the different items of expenditure i.. travel, cellphone etc.
Reconcile this with your online bank statement once a week by moving the rows up or down to mirror your bank statement. Also keep receipts in your wallet and add these two the spreadsheet weekly. This way, you always know how much money you’ve got, you can do tax returns really quickly because you are anaslysing expenditure as you go along, and model future expenditure.
Can you put in a section about the benefits of meditation and the benefits of a good diet cutting out poor nutrients like wheat and dairy?

    • Diggy

      Hey Tom,

Thanks for your input! I will definitely include a section on money management and on health and diet and will address the points that you mentioned.

      Cheers!

    Hello Diggy,

I’ve bookmarked your blog thinking that after approving it on technorati, you’ll give me a nice daily material to read. :) how about writing some alternative stuff? Since everyone is writing about normal man-woman relationships, how about dealing with gay relationship, men to men, women to women..this sounds crazy but I think this lead to more readers as well ;)

    • Diggy

      Hey JuicyPeanut:)

Thanks for stopping by and bookmarking Upgradereality!
Those are some interesting suggestions but I have no experience with them at all so I would not know what to write about. Besides, I am not a fan of gay relationships at all so I prefer to steer clear of that topic.

      Have an awesome day!

  • S. Ali Myers – Soulful Body & Mind

    Diggy,

    Love the link love post!

Ideas for you eBook? Hmmm….. I would recommend touching on something holistic. Rather it be “meditating your way to success” chapter or “putting your mind, body & soul into (fill in the blank)”. It would be nice to see your take on holistic / personal improvement. If you want to discuss further, then get at me. I would be more than happy to assist you in anyway that I can.

    Take care!
    - Ali

    • Diggy

      Hey Ali!

      Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for the suggestions, I will indeed touch on meditation a little.

  • Jonny

Lol, Diggs I am devastated I am not up there though in this case I think I have rightly been outclassed. Very talented writers.

    • Diggy

      Hey Jonny!

Sorry bud, you totally slipped my mind, really tried to cover as many people as possible! You’ll be in the next one:)

      • Jonny

Lol, no worries. Trust all is well

    Hey Diggy,

Thank you so much for the link love — I really appreciate it!

For the topic of the ebook, one thing that I’ve been thinking a lot is that all personal development topics are just too scattered out. I’d love to see suggested roadmaps that take people from the very beginning of the journey and guide them through personal development, step-by-step.

Not an easy task, I know, but something to think about… :)

  • http://writewords.typepad.com/ Liz Borino

Thank you for including my blog, Diggy! I’m excited to be in such good company. Your ebook it going to be awesome. I can’t think of anything to add to it.

    • Diggy

      Hey Liz!
      You’re welcome:)

  • Srinivas Rao

    Diggy,

Thanks for the shoutout and linkback. As far as topics, I’m really interested to see how you tie everything together. From my personal standpoint I’m well on my way to where I want to be, but maybe some stuff about developing multiple income streams would be useful. Also, when you do launch the ebook, you should come back and do an interview on BlogcastFM about it. Henri sold two copies of his ebook and got over 42 tweets letting people know about the ebook.

    • Diggy

      Hey Srinivas!

You’re welcome man, hope you get some new readers:) Congrats on passing 700 btw!

Writing an ebook is not easy, at least not the way I am doing it. Of course, I really want it to help people and provide value and positive change to their lives! The main motivation is not the money:)

Will let you know how everything went in a few months time and we can do another blogcastfm interview:)
      Enjoy your day Sir!

  • Positively Present

Thank you so much for the link love! I really appreciate the mention, especially of that post, which I really enjoyed writing. As for your ebook…. I’m very excited about it and, not surprisingly, I’d love for you to address the topics of positivity and/or living in the present moment.

    • Diggy

      Hey Dani!

You’re welcome, I hope you get some extra traffic:)

I am already covering those topics but will go over them again to see if I can add more and make it really special. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Joe

    Samurai Abs of Steel?

Anyway if you’re going to write a book it should probably be about…..

WOMEN AND MONEY (what else is there)

    • Diggy

Haha, sounds pretty awesome doesn’t it?:)

Yes, women and money. Two important things in life! I cover both of them rather extensively:)
      Thanks Joe!

  • http://ivancampuzano.com Ivan

Thanks allot my friend :) ..your well on your way to getting many of the things you set out to do…very happy for you…look forward to your next project…I guess I would like for you to include what you learned from traveling and living abroad :) …you should maybe also consider using a survey to get some feedback from your readers…I am in the planning phases for my next project as well…thinking of using surveygizmo.com because they offer a free trial account…be well….

    • Diggy

      Hey Ivan!

You’re welcome! Thanks for the suggestion, I had thought about my travels and experiences but have not covered it yet. I will make a section about it and expand on it.

Good idea for the survey suggestion, Once I have a more complete draft I will launch one!
      Have a great day!

  • Parker Lee | howtomingle.com

Wow! first off, thank you Diggy! Words can’t tell you how appreciative I am!

Just being on your radar is a blessing :)

As for your list, you’ve covered a lot of very important topics.

A big struggle for me growing up was money management.

How easily and how much I spent my money, that some months I was spending a two thousand dollars of things I couldn’t even wear, or show off.

Anger management was something I had to overcome also, but I see you have that on your list, “emotional control”

I’ll try to think of other personal stories that might be specific you may could cover.

    Cheers!

    –Parker

    • Diggy

      Hey Parker!

You’re welcome, it’s a really good post and you put a lot of effort into it:)

I agree with you completely, thanks for the suggestions. I have already covered those two topics in great detail, but I will review them and see how and where I can improve on them!

      Cheers!

  • http://gratitudeconnection.squarespace.com Claire, Gratitude Connection

Wow, that’s a comprehensive list of topics to cover! Sounds like a fantastic ebook!

    • Diggy

      Hey Claire!
Glad you like the sound of it. It’s going to be awesome, hope you can wait until it comes out:)

  • http://www.getinthehotspot.com Annabel Candy, Get In the Hot Spot

Hi Diggy, thanks for the link love – it’s wonderful to be recommended by you and part of this diverse group of up and coming bloggers. I don’t know them all so more reading for me.

The book sounds amazing. You have it covered, I’m confident you’re doing a great job.

    • Diggy

      Hey Annabel!
      You’re welcome:)
Thanks for the support, will be in touch once the ebook becomes more finalised!

  • http://www.reachourdreams.com Jen Smith

Thanks for the link Diggy. :)
I think your sharing your personal experiences will help people a lot. I don’t think a degree or a piece of paper means you are necessarily able to help others more than anyone else… as in your case having experiences and learning for yourself are so important. I think your list covers everything I am interested in. All the best!
    Jen

    • Diggy

      Hey Jen!

You’re welcome, hope you get some extra readers!
Glad to hear you like the sound of it so far! Will let you know once I’m close to being done with it!

      Cheers!
