My buddy went there last year and he says it's kinda like that but you can easily hookup with girls or get dates. Personally I can't believe you can't get girls as you say. Maybe there is a tendency for girls to be superficial, but you can't have that limiting belief that you need money or looks to get girls. They're still girls and still respond to basic masculinity, so be a man and you can get them.
