Quantum Placebo: The Physics of Never Being Sick Again

Thanks to advances in medical science, we have come a long way in understanding how the human body works. That understanding has laid the foundation for us to take more control over our bodies’ processes. Through connecting the dots of a few facts uncovered by science, we may be able to immunize ourselves from serious illness.

I call it an information inoculation. It consists of three basic tenets; Understanding how the body has the power to heal itself, understanding how cells regenerate and understanding just a little bit about quantum mechanics. Roll up your sleeve and take a deep breath. This won’t hurt a bit.

The Placebo Effect:

Dr. Bruno Klopfer wrote of a patient with a horrible case of cancer of the lymphs, riddled with grapefruit sized tumors all over his body. He was a lost cause with a life expectancy of only a couple of weeks. Shockingly the patient’s full recovery took only 10 days when his cancer was forced into remission by an experimental drug called Krebiozen. The drug continued to have its desired effect until the man learned that the AMA questioned its effectiveness in treating cancer. After a full relapse, Dr. Klopfer decided, since there wasn’t much to lose, to prescribe a placebo and tell his patient that this was the new re-engineered version of Krebiozen guaranteed to work. Even though it was merely sugar pills, the man’s cancer was in full remission within another week. For a few more months the man enjoyed living healthy and cancer free until it was officially declared by the AMA that Krebiozen was totally ineffective in the treatment of cancer. The man died within days.

The treatment and subsequent relapse in this man’s cancer was because of something called the “Placebo Effect”.

A placebo is a simulated medical intervention. It depends greatly on a level of deception. Placebos work because of expectancy and conditioning. A common example is when a patient is given an inert pill, but is deceived and told that the pill is actually a potent remedy. The expectancy triggers either chemical or immune responses. Because of this, the placebo effect will end as soon as the subject is told (and subsequently believes) that her expectations are unrealistic, or that the treatment was ineffective.

The brain has control over the body’s functions, so, when the body believes it is being intervened with, or stimulated in a certain way, the brain will often produce effects that will cause the expected result. For example, a placebo pain-killer will cause the brain to stop pain signals (since pain is a body function that the brain organizes). A caffeine placebo might cause the increased production of bilateral dopamine, which will surely give you a boost of energy.

Placebos are not just “sugar pills” either. Surgeon J. Bruce Moseley performed “fake knee surgery” on eight of ten patients, all of whom were happy and knee-healthy six months later.

Over four decades ago, cardiologist Leonard Cobb decided to perform “sham” surgeries on patients suffering from angina. The actual procedure involved tying knots in arteries to increase blood flow to the heart, and had a 90% success ratio. Cobb’s sham surgeries, where he simply made incisions and sewed them back up, had the same success ratio.

In a recent study called Response expectancies to placebo analgesia and their clinical relevance, patients having undergone thoracotomy (surgery opening the chest) were studied in a clinical trial to test the effects of placebo analgesia. Three groups were given a saline solution via basal injection and told they could receive a drug called buprenorphine (a painkiller) upon request if necessary. One group was told nothing of the analgesic effects of the solution. One group was told the solution may be a pain reliever, or may be a placebo. The last group was told the solution was a powerful pain reliever. The group most deceived experienced a significantly higher level of analgesic effect. This was measured by their lower rates of request for buprenorphine.

Understanding the placebo effect gives us just a glimpse into the potential power the mind has over the body. This is most strikingly the case in stories where death has been averted.

Dr. Deepak Chopra, famous physician and author, tells us just such a story. A woman came to Dr. Chopra for treatment of jaundice. After opening the abdomen to remove gallstones, he identified an advanced and seriously fatal case of cancer. He explained this to the patient’s daughter, who implored the doctor not to say anything to her mother, because she would rather it be discussed amongst the family. Dr. Chopra agreed that her daughter should be the one to break the news, but asked her to do it soon, as he didn’t see this afflicted woman living but a couple more months.

Nine months after this visit, Dr. Chopra’s cancer-ridden patient came in for a check-up. Surprised to see her, the doctor did blood work and performed a routine physical. She had a clean bill of health.

Upon conversing with the woman, she related her thought process from the previous visit. She explained, “I was so sure that I had cancer when I came to see you 9 months ago, and then to find out it was just gallstones, I was so relieved. That day I promised myself I would never be sick again.”

A simple lie saved this woman’s life.

If the body can heal all ailments, why do we need doctors?

To answer this question, it is important to properly define the role of a physician. They are experts in the understanding of how the body works. They are facilitators of ideal healing conditions for the body. They help administer drugs that can assist in the body’s fight against attack.

These drugs have their place too. Pain relievers interfere with pain receptors traveling to the brain so that it doesn’t hurt while the body is fighting off infection or disease. Antibiotics help in eradicating bacterial infections, thereby decreasing the work load for the body. Antiviral medication helps to isolate and stop the spread of viruses while the body’s immune system destroys it.

The immune system is an elaborate and well orchestrated platoon of soldiers. With white blood cells, T cells, B cells and the like, foreign invaders often do not fare well against the body. When they do overtake the body’s healing processes, this is where we involve modern medicine. The important thing to realize is that medicine as a whole (doctors, drugs, surgeons, etc.) helps to aid the body’s immune system, alleviate unnecessary stresses, and even expunge foreign occupiers, but it does not heal. The body heals; medicine simply helps create conditions optimal for that healing to take place.

Cellular Memory:

Another important piece to the puzzle of tapping into the true healing power of the body is cellular regeneration. It is commonly believed that every cell in the human body regenerates after a period of about 7 years. If this were true, it would mean that there is no reason for ailments and disease to subsist beyond a certain point.

Here is the true story. Most (likely 98%) of your cells regenerate over a period of about 10 years (mainly because of fat cells; they take longer). Neurons in parts of the cerebral cortex never regenerate. DNA also does not regenerate. Cardiomyocyte cells in the heart regenerate at a degenerative rate, so that after your life less than half will have replenished. This means that it is mostly accurate that after a few years, you are almost an entirely new person.

This regeneration takes place through the constant cycling of progenitor cells or stem cells. These are the cells activated during normal regeneration or in emergency (like when you scrape your knee and you need new skin cells). This illustrates how cells are essentially intelligent. Almost every part of the body comes outfitted with stores of these progenitor cells that are preprogrammed with a blueprint for a healthy cell.

To put it another way, it is as if cells have a memory (think memory foam). They remember their original state; this is why when you cut yourself and it heals, your skin looks good as new. Understanding the fact that cells return to a healthy state by design may be the fuel that has given power to the scores of individuals that have overcome cancer and other deadly illnesses. Or it could be the act of simply refusing access to any illness at all (like in the case of Dr. Chopra’s patient).

Quantum Physics:

Continuing to use Dr. Chopra’s patient as an example, quantum mechanics may be able to explain how she obtained her results; her thoughts were transmitted into frequencies by something quantum physicists refer to as the cortical field. The cortical field is capable of interfering, on a molecular level, with the physical universe. Typically it interacts with other cortical fields, but as the field is made of energy and water any communication with human bodies would also be possible.

The debate continues as to how much the human mind affects the physical universe, but between the varying theories about how, many scientists agree that it is possible.

Regardless of the how, I’d like to share a quote by renowned astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson who said, “we are all connected to each other biologically, to the Earth chemically, and to the rest of the Universe atomically….”

How does this information arm you with immunity to illness from now on?

First, with the understanding of how the placebo effect works, you can adopt a firm belief that your body has the ability to heal itself of most any ailment.

Next, once you know that 98% of all cells in the body regenerate, you can adopt a belief that there is no reason for illness to persist into new cells. At worst, after a number of years, you are practically a new person, and rejuvenated to your original, healthy state.

Finally, science posits a solid argument that our thoughts can affect the physical world on a molecular level. Through manipulating cells, vibrations, or conscious constructs, if you choose to believe that your ideas can affect change in the world, then you have far more power than you know. By deciding to believe the hypothesis that your mind controls, to some degree, nature, you can adopt the belief that you have the power to ensure your return to a healthy state.

By integrating these three concepts into your belief structure, you can enjoy radiant health. Deception (a requirement for placebo effect to work) is not necessary if you can adopt these beliefs. Many people enjoy this level of health, and will admit it is solely because they refuse to relinquish control to an illness. They refuse to accept that fate. This is why so many have overtaken diabetes, submitted fibermayalgia, suppressed cancer, and even escaped the clutches of death himself. Aside from the triumphant stories of the healing process there are countless others that enjoy all the abundance health has to offer with no complications.

Now that you have received your information inoculation will you be one of them?

The Universal Laws Explained – The Law of Vibration

In the last post – What You Should Know About The Law of Attraction – you learned the truth about the Law of Attraction.

You learned that the Law of Attraction can really work to give you everything you desire, but that it’s considered such a big scam because it’s not explained properly by the mass media. It doesn’t give results the way most “gurus” explain it, and this pisses you off.

The Law of Attraction is in fact just one of the six basic laws of the universe. All these laws have to be used in combination if you wish to manifest or attract the things you desire. That’s why the Law of Attraction when used in isolation rarely yields any results.

Today you’re going to learn about the Law of Vibration.

4 Game-Changing Transformations to Overcoming Obstacles

NOTE: This is a guest post about overcoming obstacles by Mika Maddela

Hi! My name is Mika and I’m deathly afraid of public speaking much less voicing my opinions.

I grew up with this belief that I needed to stay in the shadows and avoid being center of attention at all cost. In fact, as a small child, my life depended on this inherent fear. It saved me from sound lashing by the wrath of a very angry step-mom (definitely not your stereotypical American family with the doting mother and white picket fence). Unfortunately, as I got older, this fear stuck and I lived the majority of my life this way.

But I’m not that same little girl anymore.

Somewhere down the road, I found the courage to stop living my life that way. It was excruciatingly painful at first, but with each step of the way, I noticed my unwavering voice, and the confidence within my stance.

5 Ways How To Make Someone Fall In Love With You

Comment

DO you want to know how to make someone fall in love with you? This post doesn’t contain some magical secret about love that’s been kept hidden from the world for centuries, BUT there are some very useful tips that you can start using today to greatly increase your chances of someone falling in love with you.

As Valentine’s Day approaches, I’m sure some of us who will be alone this year dread it, or try to ignore it, or even mock the whole saga of lovey-dovey candlelit dinners as childish in order to mask their frustrations at not having a Valentine to spend the day with. However, perhaps the law of attraction might help you find just the one for you.

I must confess I had not really known much about this idea of manifestation and the Law of Attraction, even though I’ve come across it many times in the past. The first time was perhaps some five years ago when a friend suggested I read the book, “The Secret.” I didn’t pay much attention and went on my way.
